This is a paper I have recently started to abstract the information I have found relevant to the Bible and the prophecies within the texts, especially the revelation of John.
1. The sons of God!
(1.)How many sons of God are there? (2.) Is Satan a son of God?
Question 1 can be answered very simply with biblical texts from the old testament. Starting with Genesis and moving throughout the book.
Genesis 6:4
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days and also afterward, when the sons of God came into the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men of old, the men of renown.
Dueteronomy 14:1
“You are the sons of God; you shall not cut yourselves or make any baldness on your foreheads for the dead.”
1 Chronicles 17:11-13
11. When your days are fulfilled to go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom. 12. He shall build a house for me, and I
will establish his throne forever and ever. 13. I will be his Father and he shall be My son; ...
1 Chronicles 22:7-10
7. David said to Solomon, “My son, I had it in my heart to build a house to the name of the Lord my God. 8. But the word of the Lord came to me, saying, ' You have shed much bloodand have waged great wars; you shall not build a house to my name, because you have shed so much blood before me upon the earth. 9. Behold, a son shall be born to you; he shall be a man of peace. I will give him peace from all his enemies round about; for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel in his days. 10. He shall build a house for my name. He shall be My son, and I will be his Father, ...
Now we will present evidence of the adversary as he is called in Hebrew as being a son of God.
Job 1:6
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan* also came amongst them.
* In Hebrew the name Satan is replaced here with the name ( the adversary)
Moving on with more scripture.
Job 38:7
when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
Hosea 1:10 ( 2:1 in Hebrew )
Yet the number of the people of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea, wich can be neither measured nor numbered; and in the place where it was said to them “You are not my people,” it shall be said to them, “Sons of the living God.”
This is found to be relevant information to the prophecies and it is why I have mentioned it before starting on the prophecies.
The Revelation to John
I would like to start this topic with the first letter of John. Here we have a very big conflict of interests according to the old testament scripture.
1 John 4:12
No man has ever seen God;
Numbers 12:8
With him I speak mouth to mouth and not in dark speech; and he beholds the form of the LORD.
Here it seems we have a very large difference and either John isn't well read enough or he forgot this scripture.
Now we can start with oddities in the Revelation to John. I would like the reader here to note that I am not trying to lead you astray from your path with God but only to give you the information that has been made relevant to my mind.
Here in the Revelation to John he states an angel gives him a scroll and in Ezekiel he says the Lord gives him a scroll, to John its made bitter and to Ezikiel it is not, John gives no measuring for what he saw but Ezekiel gives an 8 chapter measuring.
Revelation 10:1 then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head; ...
Ezekiel 1:28
Like the apearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the apearance of the brightness round about. Such was the apearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD.
Here we obviously see that both descriptions are similar one saying LORD ( Ezekiel) wich is I believe the way YHWH is stated throughout the bible, and the other stating he sees an angel (John).
Strange things when eating scrolls and where is the measuring of the temple John is given?
Eating scrolls.
Ezekiel 3:3
And he said to me, “Son of man, eat this scroll that I give you and fill your stomach with it.” Then I ate it; and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.
John 10:10
And I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it; it was sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it my stomach was made bitter.
Here it seems the scroll is only made bitter to John and not to Ezekiel.
And for 8 chapters Ezekiel gives an acounted measuring of the temple of God (chapters 40-48), while john gives absolutely no measurement.
Is it one or two lampstands?
Revelations 11:4
These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands wich stand before the Lord of the whole earth.
Zechariah 4:11
Then I said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand.
Here we see John say there are two lampstands and Zechariah say there is only 1 lampstand.
Does prophesying men will worship things other than God constitute causing people to worship false gods?
Revelations 13:4
Men worshiped the dragon, for he had given authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, ...
Dueteronomy 13:1-5
1. “If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, gives you a sign or a wonder, 2. and the sign or wonder wich he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, 'Let us go after other gods, ' wich you have not known, 'and let us serve them, 3. you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or to that dreamer of dreams; for the LORD your God is testing you, to know wether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and all your soul. 4. You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him, and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and cleave to him. 5. But that prophet or dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, ...
Does what John prophesied cause people to worship other things by prophesying they will? Incidently, Johns prophecy is the only one that does this that I have read.

Revelations 17:8
The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is to ascend from the bottomless pit and go to perdition.
How does a beast that is never in a pit ascend from it? What ever happened to the second beast?
